Opening of March plenary session by President Jerzy Buzek
At the opening of this week’s Strasbourg plenary session, European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek expressed sorrow for the sufferers of the earthquakes in Turkey, Chile and Haiti as nicely as the storms in France. He also congratulated Lithuania and Estonia on the 20th anniversaries of their independence (eleven March) and, referring to the 51st anniversary of the Tibetan uprising, known as on China to interact in dialogue with the folks of Tibet.
