Sphinx musicians pay a visit to the Netherlands
U.S. Embassy The Hague collaborated with The Leer Orchestra of the Netherlands and U.S. non-earnings Sphinx, to deliver two young African American musicians to carry out classical music workshops in minority schools in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
The effectively-known Leer Orchestra (endorsed by Dutch Princess Maxima) and Sphinx (honored at the White colored Property) are committed to promoting songs in children’s schooling, specifically in minority schools.
Gareth Johnson (violin) and Khari Joyner (cello) visited the Netherlands for a week, doing concerts and classical new music workshops in six colleges to packed auditorium and classrooms.
